Ship and Station

Been playing with Corneroids for a week or so, kind of wish I found this when things were more active. Hopefully Corneroids will continue being developed or even it became open source, cuz I'm really enjoying it.

I wrote an article comparing Corneroids to other ship building games. In my opinion it is currently superior do to its nice balance of complexity and functionality.

Recently after several different worlds I finally built a mostly complete space station for my simple transport ship to dock. Here's a video showing the station, it's controls and the ship. Skip to the last three minutes for the docking sequence.

I've been using the PasterLak's itemset since it has a nice variety and makes it easier to make windows ;)

I've also been debating making my own textures, itemset and maybe some new monsters. I'm not sure how moddable the game is.

Personally I see a lot of potential with this one, since it's pretty complete. Playing with the image files showed me you can much more complex glow maps as well.

So if I plan on making more stuff, plan on me posting here again about it.

It's nice.

I've been working a blocksetof my own. I'm pretty sure you can't add new monsters. You can edit their textures though.

I realized that the monsters lurk in the coding and I need to get the proper extractor to alter those content, but I may still create a new texture set at least.

Lately I've been trying out DarthNox's itemset on making a larger attack type ship, but I so far prefer the variety of PasterLak's set.

I'll be sure to check out yours if you post it.
